Wollongong’s Boutique Cottage Kindergarten

Ages 2-6 years

We endeavour to create a safe and secure learning environment where children are encouraged to play and explore, and to express their ideas and individuality.

We offer an abundance of learning experiences and opportunities for self-discovery, whilst supporting children’s individual needs, interests and abilities.

We are committed to providing a high level of education and care, and a supportive foundation that allow children to learn and grow.

Quality Programs

Our learning experiences and programs are designed to prepare children for their transition to school and help them become confident, independent and active members of our society. Children’s interests and voices are paramount in our curriculum and centre’s direction.

Sustainability & Gardening

Sustainability is an important part of everyday life at our centre. Through our gardening program, children actively care for plants, grow herbs and vegetables, and learn where food comes from. These hands-on experiences foster responsibility, patience, and a deep respect for the natural world.

Children participate in watering, planting, composting, and recycling practices, developing an understanding of how their actions impact the environment. Our garden provides meaningful opportunities to explore science, healthy eating, and teamwork while nurturing a lifelong appreciation for caring for our planet.

Dedicated Educators

Our highly qualified, skilled and experienced educators share a deep passion for early learning education and care. They display a warm and caring nature, and build secure and authentic relationships with all children and families.

Community Involvement

Our supportive and welcoming community creates a positive foundation for the growth and development of our children.

We value family input and involvement, believe in transparency and open communication, and have trusting, authentic relationships with all families and the broader community.

Our children enjoy regular excursions to our local library to take part in Story Time sessions. These visits provide a rich opportunity to foster a love of reading, strengthen early literacy skills, and build confidence in a community setting.

During Story Time, children listen to engaging stories, participate in songs and rhymes, and explore a wide range of books. Walking to and from the library also supports road safety awareness, independence, and an understanding of our local community.

We value these experiences as an extension of our learning program, helping children develop a lifelong enjoyment of books and storytelling.
